Some Rants...
One has one from time to time.
While I was watching with my friend (Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith) last thursday, there was this family who seated right behind us. They have a kid with them who was so annoyingly noisy. I was dying to watch this film and try to understand it but this kid behind us keeps on kicking our seats and talks and talks like there was no tomorrow. Sheesh... how about some remorse here, huh? You're in a cinema, damn it! A cinema is like a library. No talking. As much as possible keep the noise level down. There was this one man who also couldn't stand the kid's noise that he shouted. Well, who wouldn't. Thank you, o gracious sir.
Okay, so the parents tried to keep their devil child from making noise, but then, as expected, there was this loud ring from a cell phone (it was in full volume, I tell you. It echoed throughout the cinema). My God... after all the ads that they were showing before the movie started about turning off your mobiles or atleast silencing them, there were still some (pardon the word) fucking stupid people who keeps them on. What? Are they really that stupid? Don't they understand simple directions? Or were they doing it on purpose? To hell with them. God.. that makes one turn to the dark side.
In some part of the movie, I heard the mother said to her evil kid that "try to be quiet, there are some people who are actually taking this film seriously." She was being sarcastic. Hello! Are you stupid? What was your intention in watching the movie anyway? To make your kid watch Star Wars? Well, for your information, Episode III is actually PG-13. What was in your mind that made you take your below 13 kid to watch it, anyway? Sheeesh... One thing I also hate is that some people watch a film because a famous actor or actress that they like is starring in it and not because they find the story amusing or the visuals great. Some watch just so they want to fit in. To us geeks, watching Star Wars is like attending Sunday Mass. One should listen to the Homily and try to understand it. It's also funny that during mass, a lot of people don't turn their mobiles off or try to restrain their kids from making awful noises. Sheesh...
Grrr....
